still here... however not requiring any info/help as a new car doesn't need any work...loving coming home and not having to spend every day doing something to my car. Getting back into all my old sports, going out on my surfski whenever possible, buying a windsurfer soon, got married, going on honey...

not really no... dropped it to $18500 to move it on quick and cover my costs. came out even steven but with knowledge and experience... and learnt not to do it again:) People i sold it to knew the full stroy behind the car, crash/repair included and were still happy with it so i feel good about that

when your onroad, jack the drivers side rear wheel off the ground, punch out the roll pins and remove the cv shaft completely, then put it in before any offroad trips and you'll be right, makes no difference when removed on road because that wheel is free spinning

thanks everyone, subarino has a 12v impact wrench thats goes to 340nm so will do it nice and tight with that. Its the rear mounts on the control arms up front.

will give it a squirt with the impact and that should do it. feel sorry for anyone getting em off next time:)

250 NM torque wrench???

does anyone have a 250 nm torque wrench i can borrow for an afternoon? Want to torque up all the bolts on the liberty correctly and the control arm mounts need to be 245nm. My wrench only goes to 200... and what a bloody struggle that is. not sure if i can give it and extra 45nm unless its got a dec...

trust me thats all sorted, have put everything in a folder in order from purchase, parts receipts, photo log of repairs followed by receipts for work like springs, wheel alignment/balance etc etc etc and my trade cert and welding codes etc. Im aiming to impress them to help my case:)

springs are in, dropped 30mm at the front and 8mm at the rear. I thought the fronts were knackered and that proves it. Will most likely drop a little more once it settles. All the bushes etc are fine and it drives like its on rails. Ill up date you all 2morrow once it goes over the pits.
