Sell Subaru L series turbo buggy

Hi, I have for sale a turbo L series converted into a buggy. It has the motor out of an RS liberty, adapted to the L series gearbox. It has a welded rear diff and a strengthened diff hanger. Also has the Bosch coil conversion. Everything that isn't needed for the car to work, has been stripped out, ...

Thats your best bet mate. Allows you to bolt on impreza hubs, brakes and struts and will give you the common stud pattern for a wide range of 17" subaru rims.

Definitely a leak from your heater box mate. Its a dash out job and probably a days work if you've never changed one before.

Alternatively a quick fix is to connect the 2 heater hoses going into your firewall together and bypass the heater core. It is almost winter but so up to you.

WTB: 27" Nankang super tripper

hi, I was down in mandurah on the weekend doing some rallying in the L, and unfortunately my rear left tyre ran right over a stake sticking up in the sand. Its completely torn the sidewall so am in need of just 1 super tripper tyre. Doesnt have to have awfully good tread, just enough to be legal. Ch...

If you've gone offroad recently make sure there isnt any sand clumps stuck to the back of your rims. It will cause ur wheels to be unbalanced and does exactly what you're describing.

To get 200+ hp out of a N/A 2.2 would require so many mods that you would be better off getting a factory turbo motor and whacking that in. possibly out of a rs liberty or early wrx. In the long run it will be cheaper, and wont break. That way you will have a reliable stock motor with around 220+ hp...

another already alex! i do give mine a hammering offroad and its shown no signs of stopping, even with 250,000k's on it. The only thing i dont do is rev clutch dumps, which would in my opinion shatter an L gearbox straight away. i say just chuck another L one in as well. Definitely the best gearbox ...

check out iinets website, theyve got a new feature called naked dsl. It allows you to have adsl and not have a landline. I think other providers are starting to implement it as well.

hey mat,

My fuel pump has been making gurgling noises from the day i put it in, but ive never had a problem with it or the fuel delivery. did yours just start up?

It does it mostly when i back off the throttle after giving it a bit. Are you noticing any engine hesitations when it does it?

Yeah come around and have a look whenever, i've pretty much just chopped the top of the bottom support out and shoehorned it in with a few brackets to hold it in place. Seems to do the job quite well.

I'll try and get a few pics up over the next few days.

Those 6 cyl 626's arent too bad on power. They make 123kw compared to a liberty's 2.2L @ 100kw. Overall though the liberty is a much better car to drive and you'll have him left behind around corners due to the AWD system on the liberty.

hey,

Dfoyl is right about the clock, mine kept going dull every now and then and was behind on the time. i took the pcb out and almost all the joints looked like dry joints. Just go over them all with a soldering iron to avoid any future problems.

Yeh it was good but there isnt much to do but swim and jump off cliff faces into the water. Too cold to do that at the moment but in summer ill definitely be trecking down there again. Just wanted to see what it was like, havent been there in 10 years or so.
