Here are some photos of the Snorkel fitted to my wagon! First in the U.S to have a non-PVC snorkel on an old gen! http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z146/1992Roo/Subaru%20Safariwagon/2014_0708AF.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z146/1992Roo/Subaru%20Safariwagon/2014_0708AE.jpg http://i189.phot...

Good idea! Thank you both for the help! Now that you mention it, I may be able to borrow a heatgun from a friend of mine.

Stealing is never a good idea, but "borrowing" something for multiple years isn't a horrid idea now is it...? :p

Right awesome! Thanks for the threads and that gives a bit of insight. I must buy a Heatgun now :p Also thank you for the tip on filling the snorkel with sand to keep its shape. This would be the Snorkel I'm going with, I think this is actually the same one you have Vs. just not being Safari brand. ...

Bennie, Any photos of how you molded the Snorkel to fit the fender so well? This is the '90-'97 Montero Snorkel right? I'm going to get one for Safariwagon and am looking for more insight for a clean proper look like you've gotten. PM me if you would like. I will try to check on here more :) -Tom An...

What is with that floor liner? All the EA82s or Subarus for that matter we have hear all have carpeting, that looks like a vinyl floor liner! WOW!

Bennie,

This might have been posted somewhere in here, but what is the black stuff you are sealing the floor with? Might be interested in getting something like that for my EA82.

POR-15 is what I've always used, maybe there is an Aussie secret! :)

In the U.S the EA81 is the "Go to Motor" if you don't go EJ. Personally, I think the EA82 gets a lot of bad flack, because of its cooling issues and duel timing belts.

I've never had one problem with my EA82, and I love the sound more so then the EJs :D

Still on the topic of Power Steering pumps, I want to say that the first gen EJ22 (OBD-I) has an almost perfect match P/S pump, where as the 2nd gen EJ22 and up has a slightly different design. Something I read on USMB once. :) Bennie, I forgot you swapped to EJ power. No tenderness for the old EA e...

Wow, haven't been on this site in a while. Nice progress on the Wagon and it sounds great! I'm running mine muffler-less with a 12" 2" OD straight pipe.

Ok not from my experiences, but I'd stay away from Firestone. I would check out BFGoodrich, they have alot of nice tires that don't cost an arm and leg. also try Goodyear. Just some ideas,
