Great work as usual guys. Can I ask; Is that the original diff mount that you've painted there? If so what are you replacing the bush with? Because I couldn't seem to find an aftermarket one, and the only one was genuine which came as a whole piece with the mount and bush. I was wondering if I would...

Buddah,... im a little sceptical of your methods. Understandably so, it is a fairly rudimentary method. Car side Grab a multimeter and put it on the 20v setting and put the negative probe to the body. Now take the other probe and test the 3 wires with the ignition on. wiring -----------------------...

I just did the same thing in my RB25DET (obviously not a wrx but same principal). This is a fairly simple way of doing it but it worked; So the black wires go together, then I just lined up the position of the other two wires in relation to the black one. So if you are looking at the top of both the...

Buddah - not sure how your car being lowered would effect the position of the dump pipe in the engine bay? Surely your engine sits in the stock standard position on the crossmember? How exactly is your car lowered? Normally it's by suspension mods which would not effect the dump pipe position. My s...

What model car? Jan 85 (?) Rx turbo sedan It was in poor shape, but most bits were there. Didn't look closely just wondered past. Interior was mostly all there, not in great condition tho. I think the block was there, possibly manifold etc missing. But as I said I just wondered passed, didn't look ...

brisbane wreckers thread
just thought I'd start a queensland wreckers thread, cos there wasn't one. Was at boss wreckers tingalpa today lookin for 84 wagon bits. They used to have a couple, but they've crushed em!! Instead I saw an rx turbo, in poor shape but in one piece most bits there. and an 84 coupe luxury pack? ...

Dunno if anyone on here had the same issue as me. But as my beast is not raised it's lowered there's not enough room for the master cylinder to fit on the outside of the firewall because of the dump pipe from the turbo. So there are two options a for hydraulic system. 1. Put the master cylinder on t...

Havent got any more pics at the moment. Will try to take a pic of the clutch master cyl but it is very tight up there bolted to the pedal box. Used an MY power rack and reflared and bent the wrx lines to make them fit the rack. Lots of mucking around and refitting to get the lines to sit right and ...

Not to my knowledge. I think the only aftermarket acsessory made was a front spoiler by kamei. But they went out a while ago. However I managed to pick one up on ebay just recently. Some bloke had kept them in his shed for years. I don't think there's any left, there was only a few. http://img141.im...

My mum rang me up from Canberra to see if I was ok! lol :) The damage hasn't been as bad here in Norman Park, but the wagon did nearly float as the road turned in to a river when the worst of it hit. Apparently there's still more to come! I feel for those who've lost already but it is long overdue, ...
