u will have to check absolutely everywhere... it wont be fun to find the problem How much would an auto electrician charge to find the fault? Look for any dodgy wiring or exposed wires.... thats all i can think of. I've installed a cd player and cruise control in the past but my soldering is pretty...

I would be checking that tail light first.... i would dissconect it and see if the problem is still there. Just cos it has been ok for the last 6 months doesn't mean it will never become a problem. Dave I've disconnected both tail lights and taken the bulbs out of the license plate lights but the f...

My right rear light lense has a hole in the side and is partly covered by electrical tape. It has been like this for about 6 months but the problem only started a few weeks ago.

Fuse keeps blowing

Everytime I turn the lights on in the Brumby the tail / license fuse (15 amp) blows, it just started happening all of a sudden. I still have brake lights though. Anyone know why this is happening?

Missing on 2 cylinders

Checked and topped up the oil and water last friday, started the brumby up and it was missing very badly. Changed the spark plugs and leads but still no improvement. Any ideas?

subaru lpg conversions

With the government announcing possible grants for up to $1000 for new cars and $2000 for existing cars for lpg conversion is anyone thinking of converting their Subaru if they havent already. Could someone please tell me how much it would cost to convert a brumby?

Got it fixed today. The rubber grommet holding the steering column in place through the firewall had come loose causing the steering arm to move around which rubbed on the boot.

All i did with mine was hose them down and clean them with a cloth. Bought a can of silver metallic spray paint from Big W and they look brand new, no flaking or anything.

Mine does the same. When i start it on cold mornings the rpm starts at 1800 and keeps on going up towards 3000 slowly after it had been going for about 5 minutes. The brumby also wont idle when its cold even after it has been warmed up, it just slows down below 700rpm then stops. I dont have the hea...

Brumby A/C, car temp

The airconditioning on the brumby is rather pointless I think. Today it is 38 degrees and i need to run the a/c. Travelling at a constant speed above 60km/h the car seems to hold acceptable temperature, half way between hot and half way. Travelling at 60km/h i almost cooked the car so i definitely h...

There was a post somewhere about a guy that was drifting and crashed a WRX or something through a fence and took out a house - that guy was taken apart just as badly. Yeah WRX STi. His parents bought it for him on saturday night and he rolled it on monday night. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...
