Onto Ebay with it if it doesn't sell
First of all, I apologise in advance for putting this in here. I don't seem to be able to add comments in my ad. I have had a bit of interest about my L Series for sale (and warnings that I will regret selling it :p) - but still it sits in my yard. Behold it -: http://ausubaru.com.au/vbclassified.ph...

What do you consider hideous fuel consumption as I am getting around 400-450km out of a tank (normal 55l L series tank) and think I could do better. EDIT: I noticed you have a weber....thats probably where all your fuel is going. might just need a good tune up Hideous is around 400km out of a tank....

To cat or not to cat - on an L Series
Recently I got some exhaust work done on my L Series. Apparently it was suffering from a major catalytic converter failure and I ended up forking out handsomely to replace the thing. Old Mate was impressed that it was nearly 20 years old and still going I know is the law to have these things - but d...

In an L Series, the green colour is achieved by small plastic coloured covers over the bulbs in behind the cluster. I think the easiest way to get a new colour is to buy some Xenon bulbs in the colour you want. I didnt mind the green but mine was dulll - so I got some replacement bulbs from eBay. It...

L Series Power Steering Rack Boot
I have a Power steering rack boot that wants changing. Repco have only got one type of boot listed for an L Series. Would the manual and power steering rack boots be the same?

I recently wanted to buy a shirt from the US on ebay - and was quoted US$62 for postage through UPS. So they can stick that up their jumper. I usually pay about US$10-$12 for postage for shirts with USPS (US Postal Service). I have not bought anything from Japan - but I prefer not to involve UPS for...
