Yeah he was just messing around with his mate in the hilux and he just drove straight over the edge of the bank. Nothing had ever really got him stuck before so he thought he would give it a shot.

negative into positive

Whilst installing a car alarm/immobiliser/remote starter into my car i encountered a problem with the remote starter. a wire needs to be connected to a negative which turns to a positive once the car is started which lets the computer controlling the system know that the car is started so it stops t...

I only towed the boat for about 100 meters because the wheels were scraping out on the top of the wheel arches. Thought i should give up after that.

22 foot and suby.

This is a pic of the old suby towing my parents 22 foot aluminium boat, weighing in at 2.2 tonne. It didnt get far to start off with because of the wheel slippage on gravel in front. Had to use low 4 to drag it out. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/1/705380171.jpg And in response to Matatak. http://img...

Clunking noise from the back.

My car was recently stolen and when recovered, something in the back makes a clunk noise constantly when i turn right. It also does it when i have my foot on the brakes and when its in 4wd.

It still goes ok but sounds like the right hand rear wheel is about to fall off.

Ideas?? thanks

It was pretty obvious where it was at just sitting in the boot. All of the locks and ignition was all still intact so they had a master key or something.

It also sounds as if they have blown the back diff or cv joints as when i turn right there is a pretty big clunking noise coming from the rear.
