FS: 2002-ish Outback bumper.
Hey guys. I bought a bumper for my outback (see the "went for a drive" thread below), but unfortunately it doesn't fit! The gap between the grille and the headlights on later model gen3 outbacks is slightly larger than on my 2000 model. If it was the other way around, it'd fit no worries, but it won...

That capri is probably Kearon's: ( http://www.evcapri.com/ ) It is Canberraev.org, or just http://www.aeva.asn.au I wish I could have gone. The only EV I've ever really seen in the flesh is the mustang here in Perth. *edit* One of the guys from the Adelaide AEVA made a few videos, which are here, sc...

I think there is a diminishing return if you just pile more batteries on. I'm aiming for at least 60km range on batteries - which will get me to work and back with some buffer - but later on I want to put a small generator set in the car so I can take it off road with the rest of you guys! haha Tuar...

(Cross posted from the AEVA forums - Tuarn is a guy there who converted this suzuki to electric using second hand industrial components) Hey folks. I'm slowly moving towards starting my conversion. The house stuff still is in the way, but I'm getting there. In recent weeks I've been pondering the co...

haha I was being cautious, just not cautious enough I guess. I wasn't going more than 20km/h, I think. More pics! http://ausubaru.com.au/picture.php?albumid=38&pictureid=219 This is where the AC fan is rubbing - on the radiator hose, but it has extra protection there, so I'm not too concerned about ...

Went for a drive today...
Took a wrong turn, and decided that the grass track between two sections of the road ( Here ) was an easy shortcut. Turns out the steel bollard in the middle of the track wasn't removed, just bent down a bit and covered in grass! I didn't see it until too late, and had nowhere to go, ended up riding...

GME 2watt hand held
Hey guys. I'm considering buying this UHF CB hand held next pay day, as the missus wants to go out and about on the highways and it'd be useful off road too.
Has anyone used it here? Is it any good? It looks ok, and is a good price. Does it have a hand mic plug?

I've got a LED Lenser torch for work that is insanely bright (P14 model), and it's not the brightest they've got. At the moment LEDs can replace every light in a car except the headlights, and even that will change in a few years I reckon. They're brighter and they're much more energy efficient than...

I might have a brumby, too, soon. My dad has more or less said he'll sell me his when the time comes to start my project, and he's in NSW so I'll have to fly over there and road trip it back to Perth. I'm definitely going to have to try and get a hold of one of those sports dash setups. I wonder if ...
