They dont have to be red to have a grey interior... Mines a beige-yellow colour and it has a grey interior + grey vinyl floors. It is a later model at 89 though. Grey is even rarer in L's than MY's i am lead to believe by the wreckers at Beerwah in QLD.

L Suspension Noise

My l series has develpoped a clunking noise from the front passenger side. It does it at all speeds constantly, does not change when clutch goes in and coasting, and turns into a creek when slowly turning. All the cvs have no play in them. It will do it when i hit a bump on the road. Vechile in ques...

I am after a paint code for my L-series subaru wagon. It is a december 88 model DL. It is a pale yellow colour, some people call it beige but it is definetely (to me) a yellow colour. I dont believe it is a very common colour. The sticker with the paint code on it is long gone. Thought i would give ...

L Series creaking noise

My car has recently developed a constant creaking noise that is something to do with drivetrain or suspension as putting the clutch in at speed has no effect of the noise. The noise also only seems to appear after driving the car for a while. The suby in question is an 89 lseries dl 4wd wagon. We fi...

Also easier, i believe anyway, if u dont have aircon u can remove it without the dash removal. I have air con so i had to take the dash out.... Agree with lang, much eaiser second time. If u break one of the connections to the flaps, replace it before u put it back in....
