Reminds me of a similar video of a similar looking L that had the Adam Sandler song as a sound track: "Piece of Shit Car" anyone else remember that?

What do you mean by had "a very small water bubble cleaned out"?

I will take two quick stabs at this and suggest - water or condensation in distributor (does the EA82T have a dizzy?), or corrosion as a result.

Or the classic - bad earth somewhere.

EA82 is non interference motor, so no it won't stuff your valves.

Standard timing belt replacement interval is 100000km or every 4 years, whichever comes first.

If it went well before htat I would be looking long and hard at the bearings / tensioner.

LOL, Yeah I at least wash the mud from the path where my wheels will travel when I leave :) Actually on the Friday night when I went to powder my car's nose, some nice person had left a good sponge, a spray bottle of mag wheel cleaner and a wheel / tyre brush for me to use! Back at home it often cos...

I've owned two L-Series, 1985 4WD sedan and 1989 4WD wagon. I'd buy one again as a second car / offroad project. To be brief, DL is the pov-pack model, GL adds velour trim and power steering etc, Tourers are above GL spec with a few more features etc, they also had high roofs, and most had a digital...

Car Wash Rules?

Back in NSW we think it's quite obvious that you go to a carwash and leave with a clean vehicle, but we don't make it a condition of use!

I can't quite grasp how a fuel can reduce engine friction but here is the relevant link:

I recently replaced an alternator on my 92 Liberty. The original plug & socket had 4 terminals, then replacement one has only 3. Works fine & dashlight works. Apparently the extra one isn't needed?

Yes L Series had the switch in different positions depending on year models, if you remove the centre console and can't see the switch under the selector, then it's on the gearbox.

We should note herer that there are several configurations on teh L-Series. Some had jus tht clutch fan (belt driven), some had both clutch and one thermo (electric) fan, others had two electric fans. I believe that models originally fitted with AC should have an electric fan that is always on when ...

RE: steering lock

It's a long shot, but an apparent steering lock can be caused by a bad uni joint in the steering column, wouldn't have thought this to be an issue with so few km on it though I just thought I should add this.
