well i've finally got a deposit down on the liberty, will be a little sad to see it go.

Looks good and the best thing is that it's just non slip fibreglass reinforced poly grid mesh. Used in place of steel grid mesh in most wet areas. I look at it everyday and have never thought of using it like maxtrax.

Could maybe get my hands on a heap of it in yellow...will post back.

What about a Brumby on a 4 runner chassis with a Commodore V6 ...

It's not the poo or Q Trans that concern me, it's the insurance... Will probably just drive carefully and go with the 215/65's. No...

After chatting with QLD transport....

Apparently you can only jump 15mm in overall rolling diameter based on the tyre placard (195/60/15) for the Lib.

That makes the 16's illegal altogether....

Just trying to choose a new set of tyres for my 16" Forester rims... Now it seems that a few of the Forester guys are running 215/70/16's without any real dramas. Is there any reason that I couldnt get away with this size on the Liberty? I wouldn't mind this size it'll give a little extra height and...

Ok I've got my hands on a steering coupling/uni from a Gen II OB and the front crossmember blocks. I guess I will need some blocks for the gearbox also?
