Good to see my old bullbar back on an L series. I modified it to suit a set of HID's, looks good with the lights you fitted. Yeah where the windscreen meets the body, about 300mm both sides, water is pissing in. As to the value, well I bought the car on eBay a year ago for 1k and everything else is great so am tempted to have a go myself rather than pay $1500!

Went to Stockton beach today with about 45 4WD's including a new hummer and BMW M5 (which was absolutely hopeless in sand). Had a great day, barbie and beer on beach lots of showing off, dont the big boys get pissed when the ol L series shows em up!! Never had so much fun! Anyway got home and decide...

hmmm just pulled my dash this arvo to see where the water is coming in and you guessed it the bottom of both l & r sdes are rusted through, looks like a difficult job and expensive!!

How do I fit my rear half shaft easily?

I have had a half shaft out for a while after replacing a wheel bearing, now i need it back for a beach run tomorrow and I cant seem to get it to fit without pulling the stub axle?> Surely there is an easy way!!

Well thats the opinion of the mechanics where i work, they reckon 95% of alternators its the reg / diodes that are stuffed, not the windings ???? I just want it for a spare for my central aussie trip.

Startrack is the go, just have 2 make sure its on a skid (pallet) and not leaking anything. We send em all the time.

Hey, always have the same problem, end up cutting them off with cutting wheel on grinder, luckily they are the ones where I can put a bolt and nut on.
