Standard polyethelene would wear way too quickly. Its just too soft. Go for UHDPE (Ultra High Density Poly Etheylene). Much better wearing characteristics. I use the stuff at work all the time. I have turned up bushings out of it for various tools and what not, and they are holding up very well. Ano...

l series internal dims
I could get my bombora board in diagonally from behind the front passengers seat to the rear right hand corner, on its edge, with no problem. I did have to move the front passengers seat forward a couple of notches though. That was a 2.7 meter board. I think you will be pleasantly surprised, unless ...

Nope, they wont fit. In fact, I encountered this exact same issue when i tried to buy these exact same hubs from L-Raiser years ago!!! Thats why I didnt go through with the sale. They will fit a Front wheel drive (2WD) no problem. However, for a 4WD L or Brumby, you will need a new hub. I went to Ma...

I went by last night on the way home, Pick A Part in Campellfield. 2 MY series wagons, one with replacement type alloy bull bar in great nick. And 2 Liberty Gen1 Wagons. One with EJ22 removed from car, but lying on its side next to it. Both Libs somewhat stripped of their interiors. Mechanicals stil...

mpfi heads
OK, i just got back in from the shed. FARK its cold.... LOL Anyways, the space between all 4 sets of valves HAVE been peened. Not by me however. I know that the head gaskets on this engine were done at 110,000 kms due to coolant loss. So I imagine that they were peened at that point. The repair has ...

the general trend i have found out there, is to stay away from outbacks with the 2.5, or allow for a head gasket job at some point. once repaired with the right gasket, then there isnt any further problems. the 2.2 on the other hand, are considered virtually bullet proof. i have been led to believe ...
