There is always another way to go. put a male diff in and shafts. That way the shafts are pined in. That is what i have done in my liberty. That way the shafts cant pull out at full droop.

It is pretty much self explained. Raise an end of the car. undo one bolt at a time and replace with new bolt. Reason for this is , to not allow the panels to twist and make it hard to line back up . Gearbox is in and have to agree with V.V. , the gen 2 computer didn't work the gearbox in the gen1. But the gen1 computer is working the gen2 box so far.

At the moment, the best fit i have found, is a 205 width tire. The ones on the car now are 205/70/15 on a off set the same as a forester GT wheel. Cant remember if it is a 48 or a 38 off set.

thanks barry1956, the boys have always had a passion for the older cars. What they are doing to them is just keeping them alive & well. they love what they do & do what they love. as a support person for the subie boys, lealaroo, i am so proud of what the guys do, & i know all the positive feedback...

With the steering wheel out ninety degrees , instead of grinding a new flat spot , why didnt you just take the steering wheel off and put it on 90 degrees .

Do you use a wire wheel on an angle grinder to take all that paint off? I dont know how you hang on to it for so long. I hate the vibration from those things!! Yes we do.
