Sounds like you've changed from the older vacuum dizzy to the later optical unit. If that's the case start using google for xt parts suppliers in the states or even ebay.com. Just rebuilt my Ea82T from top to bottom with everything standard bar the injectors(60cc bigger) and having the crank,rods and flywheel balanced and lightened. I run 9psi and that returns 119bhp at the wheels(microtech lt10 ecu) and i am quite happy with it but as always i have the desire for more!!...

FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it ended up being one of the vacum pipes had a small split, i had tryed new injectors and fuel pump when we noticed the slight leak. so i replaced all the vacum lines and wooossshhh! all good so put it on the dyno and we made 119 rear wheel bhp!!! very happy!!!.. thx for...

on my EA82T when ever the fuel pressure gets to 40 psi it leans out really badly. Its running the standard reg( tryed a malpassie but the same) with 60cc over sized injectors. Have tryed upping the pressure but still at 40 psi it leans out badly. Its running a microtech lt10 so we also tryed the map...

Is it possible to swop the wiring loom on my EA82T three plug(to ECU) to a four? Its only the wiring from engine to ecu, nothing else as the engines in my *coughvwcough* so no wipers,lights,etc etc etc to worry about.

The 2 screws on the throttle body are for idle speed, and fast idle speed (the one when air con is on) The EA82 ecu is not programable. If you have the factory air flow meter, the a/f ratios should be pretty close. The only way to modify them is with an aftermarket ecu. bollocks!! there u go not ge...
