Okay, I own a 91' L series and decided to cross to the darkside and go EJ. :D After searching around for a decent engine for a good while (12 months or so) I found the perfect car. It was a gen1 Lib, just had heads recon'd, all new gaskets, new timing belts, water pump etc... But the previous owners...

Not badd, i did the same to my carbie'd L but when i did it a while back i think mine was more along the lines of "Make your N/a car look like its running boost." haha Ohh well it still looked alright and came in handy wen i got the weber. I would have guessed wheel bearing? only because this has happened to me before. Just check if one of your back wheels has EXCESSIVE negative camber. thats how i knew mine were buggered. :P

yepp iagree with suparoo, i had the mechanical fan and i took it off and we swapped and since then i have had overheating issues. Altho the mechanical fan drains those few last horsepower u need in an L and it makes them sound like a bus. :)

We have a product at work that is relacement for a normal bulb but it has LEDS on it instead. Perhaps it'd be worth chasing this up?
