Get your battery tested at a local autosparky (we usually do this for free) then if that tests fine then you'll need new contacts in ur starter as the old ones are worn. Cheers

ahhh GLTA! :O ohh how i dream. :) My L gets noticed a fair bit but only from other subi drivers, ts not looooud loud but it does have a nice burble to it. :)

i got my front disks machined at a suspension/exhaust shop and it only cost me $90 for them to take the off and reface them, made a helllll of a difference because i had that wobbling/ shuddering under braking.

Perhaps a pack of those black subaru centrecap jobbies off ebay? they're cheap as chips and they're dark looking so it won't tand out as much. also just wondering how u clean and dry your interiors/seats? Cheers

I'm running Maxxis 195/60/R14's on my (stock height) L and it seems to be fine and can turn wheels to full lock either way without issues, the only place it scrubs is wen i hit a large drop in the road while travelling at 100k's. But saying that, the old clapped out suspension may be a factor in tha...

17 volts? :confused: Thats good that its fixed and only the plug. (No light circuit so alternator wasn't charging) but also clean up the battery sensing one because it usually runs straight to the battery where it reads the voltage and tells the regulator to dump heaps of charge in or regulate. not sure how to test it. But autoelec might charge like $20?

Diode's are located within the alternator on the rectifier. A good autolec can tell a blown diode just by running the alternator up on the test bench.
