argon and co2 is for mild. straight argon for al, argon and co2 and o2 for stainless (all as a general rule of thumb)

yeah type rs (a cheapo knockoff). it's pretty quiet actually and i've got it set pretty soft, so i'm happy with that

your welder prob doesnt have enough juice for aluminium mig welding. i've got a cigweld 200amp, and 6mm al is working it hard. i spose you can give it a go (welding aluminium is fun!). imo the best thing about welding al is it's easy to file back your mistakes! hahahaha. it's very similar to mild/st...

i get 12 on startup as well. as soon as the car starts the code goes. i'm going to be checking the connectors in relation to the neutral switch tonight/tomorrow

i didnt know there was a water temp in front of the turbo. lucky i checked, the resistance between the terminals was inconsistent due to (probably) a little bit of corosion on the terminals. cleaned that up and the resistance is good. will see if that changes anything

what about pads? front slotteds?

yeah i know slotted rotors with such small rotors wont make much difference, but i'm of the opinion that every little bit helps, and for safety that little bit could be the difference between life and death.

I see that DBA make the front rotors, but who makes the rear ones? any available in slotted? going prices?
