From the photos it is in absolutely immaculate condition - been kept undercover and with a tonneau on all its life - no rust anywhere...

I'd bring tools and stuff and go there when you pick it up, It might be a small thing rather big thing! could be dizzy that is playing up? who knows... If you really wanna know before you go down is ask her to take it to the mechanic's and get it checked out - but its a risk because he'll tell her ...

What are the sign's and symptoms of these engine related problems? ie Head gasket issues, cv joint issues. 1300Km is a lONG way the drive in a Brumby when there are potential issues which could become and expensive trip on the back on a Flat Bed tow truck. No idea - the seller is a girl who knows a...

Brumby engine quick fix options

I have the chance to get a really good Brumby fairly cheap, but it has engine problems. Now the problem is that I will have 1 week (in 3 weeks time) to fix this so that it is good enough to drive 1300kms home and it will only be a temporary fix because it will be getting an EJ motor when I get home....

DCCDs are rubbish for off road use - put them under any sort of prolonged strain and they will start to slip like buggery. They can be rebuilt but will cost about $1500 in parts alone. By the way I'm in the market for a DCCD for my road car - care to pass on the details of where you can get one for ...

No - it was supposed to be in last but was withdrawn again. It was not in this week at all. I spoke to Pickles and they said there was an issue with it and I read between the lines and guessed that they are refusing to deal with it :-(

build a box around the carby to equalise the pressure inside and out. Yep - seen that done before in an American car mag. It was a turbo or supercharger compnay that built it. Not sure if it was in production or not but it defintiely solved all their problems with fuelling and blowing out seals and...

Didn't they say it was going to be referred? Missed the brumby ne1 no what it went for? Yes it was referred to highest bidder, which means it was passed in and high bidder has first option to negotiate. Brumby went for $200 online but I rang them and it was never actually in the auction as it turns...

It looked pretty good in the photos - only damage was a bent bullbar and 2 dents on the tailgate - doesn't even look like it has any rust - I would have thought it would have gone for $2000 or more ?? Oh well there is a damaged Nissan R35 GTR coming up in the same auction - maybe I will get that for...

NOOOOOOO !!!!!!! It went for $200 - I was furiously hitting my BID button online as soon as it came up, when it finally accepted my bid at $300 and then all of a sudden it said "Bid retracted - too late - bidding already closed". I can only assume it was due to the response time from the server to m...
