On the Liberty there is a wiring access port under the front left hand guard/a pillar where the main wiring harness passes through - I assume the Forester will have something similar for the power wire. You can get excellent JVC and Sony Bluetooth head units for around $200 - is there any particular...

Yeah ideally you want a V2-V5 Sti (94-99). V2/3 are getting older and harder to find. V4/5 are still quite expensive. Gen 2 Liberty/Legacy (1994-1998) GT/GT-B are twin turbo so will cost $1000-1500 to convert to single Gen 1 Liberty/Legacy are getting very old and they have the (supposedly) inferior...

Ben at Ichiban is a good guy - he is a Subaru guy and is very active on rslibertyclub.org. But you could almost buy a whole Forester for that much. And Foresters have a much smaller turbo and probably a few other details differences. The newer you go the harder the conversion is in regards to the el...

Do some research if you want to know all the differences. Much easier to determine what model/year you want. Basically any 98 or earlier will be the easi...

Not sure myself what I will be driving. Will definitely bring the new one down at somestage so you guys can see what a real car looks and goes like. Will bring the Outback for a beach bash if I still have it. And was hoping to bring the RS down too but that ain't gonna happen now due to my own stupi...

haha yeah huge job.

Nearly back together* after months of deliberating about which bits to put back in.

Its getting a 4.44 WRX box and diff, kings coilovers, 19/20mm sways and maybe (just maybe) 4 pot fronts.

*well the engine and gearbox are back together at least
