you may have trouble finding a poly or a plastic tube bully that fits such an obscure and tiny car. No diss, it's just marketing, lots more commos and falcons on the road, (right now). You can go light in steel or alloy and it doesn't have to be as large and F#$% OFF as mine. Mine was built to take ...

:) Did you notice where the main upright sits ? If I plated it, I'd impinge on the headlights. There is always method to my madness. You sure that's you talking or just tradition, if every bullbar was still plate profiles without capping, would you think the same ? :) Oh and for the record, there's ...

you forget how little most cops actually know about the ADRs these days, they'd probably ping me for tyres or something they have half a clue about, long before they pick on the bullbar I'll add rolled strips if I'm asked to. Any potential pedestrian carnage, or indeed car carnage is going to hit th...

L series like to rust in half across the middle under the A pillar it seems. Mine had the misfortune of blowing a heater core, which promptly dumped wet where it shouldn't be, long before I bought it. It's now very bloody rusty everywhere across the 'screen and cowl area. I just basically ignore it ...

four hunnerd !?! ouch, that's like 45% of the cost of the whole car.. :D methinks it can keep ticking, till in stops... :) the inner CV's are a higher priority anyway, heard the first clicks of death from them today. Speaking of which, where does one go to get CVs without being dry shafted in the pr...

EA 82 timing clikki-tikki

My L series with 250+K clicks is making the classic timing clicking and ticking noise whilst running, mostly when cold. Am I right in thinking there's bugger all I can do about it ? I've not done heaps of mechanical work on Subies, my experience has been with older stuff mostly.

I'd say you have the dreaded VD. Voltage drop. Which is caused in most cases by a poor earth. It's what keeps auto electricians busy. If you're not so hot with cars, I wouldn't recommend you start diving into your wiring loom though. Make sure you have a really clean, crud free contact at all points...
