Sell Liberty GX Gen 1 Auto FWD
Air Cond, Electric Windows, Sunroof, ABS Brakes, Factory rear wing. Drives well. Everything works. Make an offer before it goes to the wreckers, would rather that it went to someone that can get some use out of it's good 2.2 motor or running gear. Not interested in wrecking or parting out. NEED IT G...

Has this had anything to do with the ambient temperature of the cabin? My wife's 94 Lib has perfect AC until it is left in the sun and the cabin temp is high. It runs for maybe 30 seconds, cuts out and doesn't work until the interior is cooled by opening the windows etc. Hot humid days when needed m...

Outback suspension
Hi Darren
does your Outback have self levelling rear suspension? We have just raised our 99 Outback with Kings and new KYBs, can give you a few pointers.

no we didn't think of before/after pics till we had half the car apart. it doesn't look that different side on because the wheels still sit nicely inside the wheel arch. but when u have a good look under it your pleased with the gained clearance. mate reckons it's more than his grand vitara with coi...

Outback Spring Lift
Just thought i'd share my recent experience of fitting 30mm raised king springs and new KYB struts. We came across a few issues that may enlighten others thinking of doing the same. My outback is a '99 model. With the front struts removed it was time to pull apart the front struts to keep the origin...

Rogaine 2010 events
Not sure if this is the right spot to place this. I've just been emailed the event list for 2010. last year i entered a few and found them great fun. very friendly people, a chance for a little competition, exercise and to sharpen map reading skills. i thought i should give it a plug here on because...

G'day suparoo, i have done a bit of reading about this as well. i just finished wiring up a center diff lock switch. this sends the tcu signal to a false load, tricking the computer to lock the center diff 50/50. the reason i've done this is so when i come to take my outback on the beach, i can flic...

Mate
what is the best way to get some extra clearance on a 00 Outback? Want to run up the beach from time to time, not doing any serious off road.
Thanks

16 inch WRX rims fit an Outback??
Anyone know if 16 X 7 MY99 WRX rims will fit a Gen 3 Outback? The Outback rims are 16 X 6.5 and have 48 mm offset, not sure with the WRX rims if the tyres will clear the struts. Was looking at running 215/60 X 15 Yokohama C drives. Anyone tried this before??
