Welcome to the club too... I used to have crunchiness in 1st & 2nd gear until I put in redline shockproof oil in and it hasnt been back ever since. How hard to change the input shaft bearing? you will need to split the gearbox open! If you have mechanical knowledge then it can be done... Cheers AP ...

Well i can get my hands on a 66 mustang with thats been on a dyno, a ba XR8 aswell, but they werent the same place, but i suppose getting three cars tested at the same place would be easier / more accurate.

Hey, im not exactly sure on how the clutch ona brumby works but, check where it pulls through the firewall it could be ripping a ring around the bracket, we had this with an EA falcon that had the same problems you are having.
