I think you might be referring to "jerky" feel in low revs in gears - I did have that issue in my gen2 Liberty as well got used to it...

It looked like the lower shaft would fit, but I'm not willing to change my differential from 4.11 to 3.9 even if it would work (I didn't measure anything just eyeballing it). It's amazing how similar the ea and ej transmission look on the inside. Is the EJ transmission stronger than the EA? I know ...

The other day I saw an Subaru I knew it was Gen3 outback by looks of it but I couldnt see what was wrong with it - the tailgate garnish was all painted matching the body colour, all you could see was the lights cut out but all painted - looks pretty wrong but that was unsual thing.... another thing ...

We need more information - If hes from WA more likely he would have normal EJ22 which would have twin exhaust port... i havent seen an EJ with single port yet... You have an good chance to drop upto 1998 (australian version) EJ22 engine with small changes which is unlikely if it was 1994-1998 EJ22 i...

And the pinion shaft is different between the EJ and EA gearboxes - you'll need to take the pinion shaft that matches the rear casing. In the EA's case, if you want the PT 4wd selectable rear section from the EA casing you need to take the rest of the gearbox with it as the lower gearsets are press...

I bought a shifter from an 89 loyale, and after working on it all weekend, I couldn't seem to get it to work correctly. It seems that no matter how I set it up, the two shifter interfere with one another. Any tricks? First I tried using the EA shifter but couldn't make it fit without cutting the fl...

I'm looking for the cable to shift the transmission in to lo and hi. The one I bought had the cable cut... I would also need the mounting bracket on the transmission and the interior lever. Any ideas where I could find these items? I'm not having any luck online. Thanks, Gilles What came in my mind...

Wow, I thought Subaru would have fixed this issue! Apparently not. I've fixed a few L series clocks now, piece of piss. The hardest part is not cracking the clock's surround when you remove it from the dashboard. Cheers Bennie Yes and no - other car makers have the same problem, its caused by vibra...

Inside the clock would have dry solder joints. If you're handy with soldering iron you can do it yourself. Or get second hand clock?
