The above comments are correct, Gen 3 strut tops has two bolts whereabouts gen 2 has 3 bolts holes.
Gen 2 coils are wider/bigger than Gen 3. Gen 4 suspensions are better than Gen 3 - will work from Gen 4 to Gen 3.

Gen 3 Outback 1998-2004 are SOHC.

Are you sure it's a 2wd - I thought they would have all been phased out by '94. I would say it's an AWD (all wheel drive). FROG will probably ask for your VIN, offer it anyway and ask if it's an AWD, he'll be able to tell you from the VIN on his system! All the best with it, getting the part will b...

Forester rims are very cheap second hand and will have same stud patterns as your liberty but also have less offset which helps stop larger tyres rubbing on the body but a body lift or forester/outback struts would also be required. If you are fitting off road tyres then more ground clearance is a ...

What the point - when you're driving an automatic you're coasting down, not downshifting before the lights... Ive always put it out of gear when going down hill - theres an long 6 km downhill drive out in Gippsland that i regularly just cruise downhill without being in gear - saves on fuel tho - it ...

There should be another connector plug there as well - i would say it would be for tow bar plug, it has extra wiring/connectors for the plug that you wont need - and i think it has extra wiring for electric brakes but the Forester doesnt have it fitted but there wire is there ready to go.

Dispute the kms - I'd go for the turbo depending on the history - I would get it tested.

You could install D/R manual behind Turbo - which is good option.

Otherwise I'd go for the XT.

But main question - do you need the power from Turbo? ie. towing etc

If you're referring to electric climate control to replace manual one - you can do that but you will need to replace the airbox and electrics - it involves removing the whole dash.

Last Friday I spoke to Subaru, I asked them if the rear struts has 2 or 3 bolts on Gen 4, On all Gen 4 does have 2 bolt on both Wagon and Sedan (which is good for me as I have a set of rears that I want put in our wagon and both sedan and wagon struts are the same). He mentioned that Gen 3 has 3 bol...
