Yeah thats the one. Basically its a licenced paddock basher  but got it for 2 reasons. 1. Its always good to save a brumby. 2. Its a project for my father to do/ help me with. My mum passed away 6 months ago and he's still pretty lost, so hopefully this will give him something to concentra...

Buying stuff on gumtree?

Hi All,

Just want to know if there is a safe way to buy stuff off gumtree? Just don't want to buy something off someone on the other side and never see the item or my money ever again.

Thanks for input,

Corax.

Brumby's are getting rare, let alone targa tops. Ive been looking for one for about 3 months now and cant seem to find one. Put 'Subaru brumby' into gumtree these days and you get less then one page of results, and most of those are for parts.

Hmmm, a little bit off topic here but I was wondering if anybody here has run into scammers on gumtree? If so how were they trying to scam you? Most seem pretty obvious but any 'heads up' that can be provided is a good thing I think.

I like the one in Bunbury? Pretty sure its the same one that was for sale in Australind for $800 a couple of weeks ago. Though I have noticed that he's taken his P plates off. The bloke in Gelorup is dreaming!

Yeah know what you mean about not having any money, seems to be how I roll. Good thing we know rich people like Paul who can buy cars like this and then take photos and put them up so us poor folk can look on in envy! Seriously though Paul it would be good if you buy it, it would be interesting to s...

Wow that's an awesome looking brumby, hopefully someone on here will buy it!
Will be interesting to find out why they abandoned it. From the photos it might have some under dash wiring issues?

Got in contact with him and he told me the condition of them wasnt great. Am chasing a good pair to match the rest of my brumby so if y'all could keep your eyes open that would be great.

Cheers.
