Has anyone on this forum bought an sjr lift kit from the states if so what are they like to deal with? iam thinking about buying a 4'' lift of them unless someone here makes lift`s bigger than 3''

whould 205/70/ r15 a/t fit on a l series ive been thinking of putting redrilled six stud 15'' with a good negitive offset would these fit under a 2'' lift?

valve saver/flash lube in l series

atm my heads in my l series are really noisey it has been a problem that goes away occasionally then comes back again a friend suggested putting flash lube in whould this help or more importantly cause any damage to an unleaded car?

suspension lift for l series

for the second time on ebay ive seen an l series for sale with suspension lifts what are they using for the suspension lift other subaru struts? or custom suspension? the car i seen on ebay today had a 2'' body and 2'' suspension lift the angles of the cv's looked pretty good.

does an ej18 have a dizzy drive?, would the carby fit on the inlet manifold with a bit of customizing seams you can use a ej18 manifold for the carby coversion might be a bit less mucking around.

another idea my freind gave me was to use a mini spool maybe use a hilux rear diff we will nut out something that works soon maybe

Free wheeling hubs on l series

has any one thought of or put free wheeling hubs on the rear of an l series? so you can have the diff welded up without the need to drop in and out the cv shaft just flick it to lock when going offroad and back to free when you get back on tarmac would be an awsome time saver.

i changed the oil to shell helix 25w 60, oil filter and added some lifter free up two days ago made a little difference then today on my way in town the sound dissapered completely is that a good sign?

wen't to my local subaru specialist after checking the belts where tight enough, and hla,s being still nosiey he said all he would do is do a service and put some additives in the oil the see if it will quiet down a bit, when i asked about them getting replaced i asked for a price just for curiosty ...

my l series i bought about 2 months ago with a great service history and under 200,000km on the clock has started that lifter ticking noise we are all familar with but is constantly ticking whilst driving and idlling only on the passengers side, in the work shop manual it sais to check the camshaft ...

How complicated is front to all wheel drive conversion in a subaru liberty i understand you would need a gear box, drive shaft and rear diff and a few other bits and pieces but is it that simple or costly?

Iam looking at doing an ej conversion at some point for my l series the gearbox that i have is fairly worn so the question is get another ea gearbox or convert to all wheel drive there is pros and cons for both i like the l series gearbox is offroad and it low range is awsome if they made an air loc...
