Air Suspension to Struts
Just wondering what a good price is for this conversion. I've been given a quote, but it seems pretty pricey. I'm not sure whether to ditch this guy, or let him have the car.
Any ideas would be great

I'm still not convinced. Maybe I'm a sceptic, but I just 'feel' that someting else is amok. The other day while I was driving, the height button started flashing, and wouldn't stop until I turned the ignition off. I assumed this was because something was buggering up, but when I got out of the car, ...

Ok. But I don't see how the car can maintain its pressure for weeks at a time, and then suddenly lose all pressure at a single instant. If a strut needed replacing, wouldn't it always lose pressure? Maybe even never get up to full pressure? I just don't see how it can happen so sporadically if it is...

Liberty Air Suspension
Alrighty guys, I need some help. I have a 1994, gen 1 liberty GX wagon with the stock air suspension setup. It is all in working order, but sporadically, it will lose pressure and the front of the car will drop. There is the sound of air rushing out at my right-hand front wheel. Now I know you're al...

This is in relation to a 94 Liberty wagon, EJ22 that has a great service history and runs like a dream... A couple of times in the passed month, my car has mysteriously turned itself off while I'm travelling along a freeway. The symptoms are: Im driving along, sudddenly there is a loss of power and ...

I've now adjusted the clutch cable to within the guidebook specs, but the hill hold is still sticky. Is the cable to adjust for this, the cable under the clutch cable? The cable I am thinking of is a plasticy looking cable that runs in the opposite orientation to the clutch cable. There is slack in ...

Adjusting Clutch and Hill Hold
I've had the clutch replaced on my 1993 GX Liberty Wagon and need the clutch tightened. Just wondering how to go about this (I've worked on many cars, but never a Subaru). Also, the "Hill Hold" device is not letting go until the clutch is fully engaged, which makes parallel parking a nightmare. Will...

Can you help with buying a car
For an old Subaru liberty, does 270 000kms, with a Jap import engine replacement 10 000km ago seem fair, or a little long in the tooth?
Just wondering what else seems to go wrong with car that has done that many kms.
Cheers

Help: 1990 GX Wagon Gearbox
1990 GX Wagon, Selectable AWD, 5 gears The above mentioned car has just lost 4th gear, and also the clutch feels "grainy" when using. Also, the gear shift knob moves a considerable amount when accelerating, and backing off (about 2 inches of movement) When driving, if I select 4th, and release the c...
