Same same 99 Forrie 3 weeks ago. Brake place made one in 10 mins $44. Banjo fitting one end, standard flare fitting other. You'll just need a 10mm flare spanner and other standard sockets/spanners

Perhaps, then, if/when you speak to him next you might ask him to either send the parts or return the money.

Funny you should mention it!
Just fixed the same fault yesterday. Look at the white connector behind the bumper, I pulled mine apart and cleaned it up. If you push & pull the wires coming out of it you might see the results of the crook connection.

Own a BOC170, as big as you can go and stay portable; no complaints. You can't go wrong with Lincoln or WIA. How thick alloy? I looked at it a while back and a welder I spoke to reckoned that 250amps would only get you to about 5-6mm. Alloy soaks up the heat big time!
