Yeah my '92 AWD liberty box was popping out of third. Was the big double deep groove roller bearing was badly worn giving to much end float in the shaft. So replaced the bearing and worked fine. Then 10 000kms later my box is making terrible noises seems like the front diff part. So when I get time ...

I can't remember off the top of my head. Buy them from a bearing supplier. Will be heaps cheaper.

Yeah,
It entered my mind that realistically the gearbox would last for ages without it. But being a mechanical engineer I realised that it does offer much needed oil.
So gearbox is getting pulled back apart this weekend.

Hi Guys, I was wandering if anyone would have an electronic copy of an exploded view of the hi/lo range 5spd gearbox for a '92 liberty. I put it all back together and have a thin metal thing that must catch some of the oil being splashed around and feeds a bearing or something. SO would love to know...

Yeah, The compressor isn't pupming enough pressure. To lift the front I jacked it up on the hoist and stuff. But I pumped the front up by telling it to go up and blow compressed air through the suction side of the cars compressor and it jacked up. Subaru don't sell kits for the compressor so if anyo...
