lol iv thought that aswell i traced it back and it went to the relay
do you know if the ecu has to be earthed to the body?
im going to the wreckers on the weekend to try a diffrent computer

i have tested both pos and nev on the coil than tested the plug from the harness

yer iv tryed to put 12v to the coil and it dosnt seem right because the pos wire gets hot.
ill have a go and try what u said. i will get back to use
oh yer its a 4 plug ecu

hi dose anybody no if you can run an ea82t mpi with a non turbo ecu? its a 4 plug ecu, and would a dud computer cause the coil to have no power

After convertion to efi in my L i carnt get any power at the coil iv checked the power at the fuse and its 12v. anybody have any idea?? cheers jarrod

the dizzy has no vacuum advance, i had a look in my workshop mannual and i carnt even find the dizzy thats on my motor, in the book. they arnt alternator wire becasue i have already pluged them in. here are some more pics

iv just about finished the wiring for my ea82t convertion when i released that the harness only has 3 wires for the dizzy. but the plug coming off the dizzy has 4 wires. what i think has happend is that iv got the non turbo mpi harness. As a few of you may know im converting my L to a turbo motor. I was thinking about pulling the heads off the motor and port n polish them, if its worth my time. dose anybody know what would be the be the best mods to be done as i heard they flow terrible. its an ea82t motor. cheers jarod
