Nope there is always one thing wrong with it. In a different state, auto, fwd, lx, high km's etc. I want a 92-93 gx awd manual with reasonable km's either sedan or wagon.

I thought I would get this going again instead of starting a new thread. Does anyone have pictures of a brumby lowered, with springs and wound down rear?

brumby is a 92 model. How much work is involved? My dad has lots of mechanical ability while I am wanting to learn. And I have friends who are mechanics.

after constantly changing my mind about cars I have started thinking about putting a 5 speed in the brumby so it's better for the highway etc. I have heard that L series gearbox works? how easy is it to do this? also how much would it cost?

Yeah I always change my mind from wanting to do a conversion to getting a new car. I think I will end up getting a gen3 liberty rx and sell the brumby. Then I will have a more modern car with all the luxuries.

Also If I used a gen 1 liberty as the donor car, could I use the dual range full time 4wd gearbox, and would I need to use the liberty diff aswell?

Ok now i'm thinking maybe a EJ22 with 5 speed manual. Is it ok to do this conversion without upgrading brakes etc.? also what else would need to be changed? Hey guys I was just wondering around how much would it cost to do an EJ conversion. I already have the brumby but how much for the motor and parts I would need if I did it all my self, also how much would it cost for someone else to do the conversion? I'm not to sure about EJ22 or EJ20T as I am thin...
