I have done it the other way around. Using a brumby sender and a forester instrument cluster and it works ok but not perfectly. 3/4 = 1/2, 1/2 = 1/4 and 1/4 means go to the servo soon.

I have 6.5" splits in the doors and a 10" free air sub under the drivers seat mounted to a 16mm thick mdf board and bolted to the floor. A big amp sits under the passenger seat. The result is very impressive for a Brumby.
