Front struts rebuilt?

Can the front struts on a L series be rebuilt?
If so, is there anyone in Perth who does.
Or shall I stop being a t.a. and just bite the bullet and buy new ones.

Easiest L series Seat conversion?

Hi all After some advice on the easiest non-standard seat to fit to a L series. My drivers seat has seen better days. As I drive long distances and the ol' back isn't as supple as it used to be, am after something reasonably comfy and firm. Not fussed on what its from make wise, just after an easy d...

Hi
was the holder made from a hinged bike carrier?
As I've always wondered about modifying one, and using the towball as the mount for. Most have a 40kg capacity so should be able to cope with a spare wheel attached to it.
Either way, nice bit of kit.

Thanks for the replies
Yes looking at it again, it does look more trouble than what's worth to bypass.
The replacement subaru gasket is lot thicker & better quality than the dead one, which appears to be card type gasket and quite thin.

Reason for coolant to inlet

Hi all Finally got around to changing the inlet manifold to carby gasket. Though just a small amount of coolant weeping on outside, gasket finally died and dumped coolant into the inlet manifold. Quite disturbing finding coolant spitting out the exhaust ala blown head gasket style. Question is, why ...

Small Coolant weep

have just noticed coolant weeping out between the inlet manifold & adapter plate (for weber), at the front, above where the coolant pipe goes in below the carby.
before I rip it apart, there just should be a gasket to re-new?
or won't a new gasket stop a leak from here?
thanks ahead

Hi smoov Just wondering what happened with all vac hoses with your air filter fitted. I've had my L webber'd for about 2 yrs now with the old blk airbox mod'd to fit the webber and only just fitted a pod filter adapted to run off the hot air inlet. As it's a el cheapo pod filter & not really cleanab...
