EJ20 into '85 RX!
Spent just about all weekend in the garage...got a good amount done i figure. Conisdering i was working by myself most of the time. Actually. the Ej20 and tranny are coming from a Legacy Turbo (Canadian car). My buddy had a Legacy turbo, which was stock with a 2.2L SOHC motor. When that started getting run down (around 230,000 km) he threw a JDM EJ20 into it. So..i'm using the JDM Ej20, Legacy Turbo Tranny, and Legacy Turbo 3.9 ...

EJ22 Turbos were not released on the Australian market but they do exist. interesting concept...however with those pivots i believe the towers will still beable to move inwards and outwards. or even individually. you are right on them moving up and down...they will do that, but they can also move in/out, or front/back.
