Just incase you need them, i have a set of EJ257 (2.5L Sti) pistons, never been used. Removed from a short motor i bought and built up with forged bits.

Let me know if you need them they will go pretty cheap.

i think a true race engine would be running tighter tolerances than standard and forged pistons usually run different tolerances to allow for different thermal expansion. But where exactly the line between a standard engine and a street engine is im not sure. Bearing wise .. i dont think there is a ...

took my own car. Lib B4 (with 2.5L single turbo conversion)..

my tires were a bit rubbish.. khumos!! dont get them. Even the instructors couldn't make it corner properly.. it would either understeer or drift the whole corner if pushed hard.

AHG Performance Driving Day

I went out to AHG last sunday and had a ball on the performance driving course. 4 hours for only $80 and the instructors were actually pretty good drivers who would sit in the car and give you usefull hints. And generally were encouraging us to push the car and slide around. It was pouring with rain...

i do it most of the time (either that or not use the clutch at all).. but only because my L series wouldn't go into gear any other way and its the first car i learnt to drive on. its a bit of a joke in the b4 .. synchros are so good it drops into gear before your done double clutching or rev matching.

yep ..very handy to be able to do on cars with either no synchros left or that wont idle by themselves (or both at the same time for extra fun). But if your car is running alright i doubt there would be much difference.

i had a close look and it still had drive shafts in the front. So i'm not sure how they got rear drive.

Either way it was a nice brumby. Rear drive was definitly the go for motovation, nothing but skids to do really.

knock sensor failure used to make my B4 miss at revs, also the other one that gave an intermittent miss without codes was the camshaft position sensor (on the back of the plastic cam cover on the passenger side). Try just taking the plug off and spraying with contact cleaner (or wd40) and seeing if ...

you don't actually need a drivers license. You just need to have held one as far as i understood.

from motorplex web site
All drivers and riders must hold or have held a civil drivers licence.

the other possibility is that when you flick the switch it is causing an error (maybe the TCU is supposed to respond) and that is causing the car to run in safety mode (which does not rely on the o2 sensor so would stop the af ratio from flicking from lean to rich in cruise). But i think if thats th...
