if you hang on to it for a 3-4 months i'd be interested in buying the whole car.

i think a true race engine would be running tighter tolerances than standard and forged pistons usually run different tolerances to allow for different thermal expansion. But where exactly the line between a standard engine and a street engine is im not sure. Bearing wise .. i dont think there is a ...

I went out to AHG last sunday and had a ball on the performance driving course. 4 hours for only $80 and the instructors were actually pretty good drivers who would sit in the car and give you usefull hints. i do it most of the time (either that or not use the clutch at all).. but only because my L series wouldn't go into gear any other way and its the first car i learnt to drive on. its a bit of a joke in the b4 .. synchros are so good it drops into gear before your done double clutching or rev matching.

knock sensor failure used to make my B4 miss at revs, also the other one that gave an intermittent miss without codes was the camshaft position sensor (on the back of the plastic cam cover on the passenger side). the other possibility is that when you flick the switch it is causing an error (maybe the TCU is supposed to respond) and that is causing the car to run in safety mode (which does not rely on the o2 sensor so would stop the af ratio from flicking from lean to rich in cruise).
