yeah if the Ej22 ecus are anything like the B4 ones that power button changes to computer to a completely different set of maps (timing ,fuel, open loop closed loop points etc)

yeah i saw that brumby . it did have front shafts though.. So im not sure quite how RWD it was. Maybe a DCCD box

not sure exactly on bias .. but in the B4 its probably slightly heavier on the rear brakes than you would expect. (i can quite easily provoke oversteer with the brakes when the fuse is out) But this might just be the way the B4 handles anyway.

on loose gravel roads crawling down a steep driveway i could push the brake pedal all the way to floor and the car would not stop at all because of the ABS. me too ... I'm on my third motor in the B4 now .. one more and i will have spent more on the motor's than the car.

Yeah i have removed the fuse in my B4 for track work. For some reason it works really well for one stop, but once the brakes have heated up the ABS comes in way too early.. so i remove the fuse for track days. You will get a light on the dash but otherwise everything is ok (cept no ABS).

on a turbo car ..a leak is usally quite safe as it goes rich under boost instead of lean (for a MAF based system anyway, a MAP based should handle it fine).

you could try out the primary from a twin setup.. it wouldnt have much lag .. no idea if it would fit. I've got a spare though.

you probably wont get twice the boost for twice the speed. Blowers get really inneficient at high revs .. but you might be close going from 3.5 to 7psi ish. I would look at keeping all your pulleys as big as possible to avoid slipping belts. If you can increase the size of your crank pulley and then...
