Hi Mate You can cut your fuel tank down to be a 10 or 25 litre and put the tank in the floor like on the ford gassed wagons . A donut tank wont fit in the engine bay. Well it cost me $47 from repco and 1 1/2 hours to change the front left bearing . You must make sure that you get the correct bearing package for your car. The mechanic will charge you for 2 hours labour and retail on the bearings. its not a hard job to do but you must take your time to make it hass...

Its taller, shorter but at two cores its twice the capacity of a l series. i had one in my old 82 coupe . It didnt even get over the 1/6 mark on the gauge in winter or summer and if you add a 160 deg thermostat and twin thermo fans then you never got to have the fans running even at idle on a 40 deg...

I feel for ya mate . Ive got the same problem with the Vortex . The car runs at 1/2 till 80 then 2/3 to 3/4 at 100 and thats only after i took the side tank off and cleaned the cores. At last
Well the end result was a stuffed rear bearing and bad tyres.
I had new tyres fitted today now the vort is as smooth as.. .
So the list was 1 x rear bearing, 1x cv complete, 2x balljoints.
2x front bearing, 4x new 205/ 60 /13.
But hey thats all part of the subie life style

so far
Well so far i have replaced the front left cv both bearings and ball joints .
I still had the wobbles so i replaced the rear bearings and the wobbles have nearly gone so i will now replace the tyres .
Aaaargh

ball joint
I say he means Ball joint .
Years ago i had a wobbley ball joint but it wasnt this bad ...so im thinking that its both joints .
Im replacing both sides ... joints, bearing, cv joints so that its back to ground zero .

Sorry Mate You get w*nkers like this all the time. :x I had radiator probs myself but i had the time to pull it out and remove the tanks then rod them . Its not hard if you can take your time, being plastic tanks makes it easy. Hope the other guy did a bang up job . Cheers Pete
