if anyones keen i plan on putting the RX together on 18th or 19th.. could do with a bit of help although it shouldnt be TOO much of a task but still mostly beyond me :P.. hopefully have the car licenced 2 weeks after that, just in time for my bday :)

just scored an RS Lib intercooler :D going to pick it up on sunday when i get the engine.

after i get the valve kit i think ill pretty much be ready to swap the engines \o/

I've got a complete set of L series seat belts from my old car (recently chopped in half). They are far from as-new condition but should be pits passable. yea i know what you mean, but i figure that the cost to turbo the EA82 will be a few gaskets, and a bit more time, but other than that itll be all sweet i hope.. also.. one major thing that im after atm is L series seatbelts.. dont really want to spend $430 buying them from Subaru new, so if anyone ...

just tracked down wheel bearings :) $14 per bearing, or $37 per kit that includes 2 bearings and 2 seals, im about to go pick up 2 kits to have em ready for the engine swap :)

also can anyone confirm that the turbo manifold is not usable with the NA EA82 engine?

if so, whats the chances of being able to reuse the heads off my EA82T if they arent in too bad a condition?

hehe, i would love to get it fixed, but i explained to Tim what happened to it, there was some hardcore damage done to the engine by someone else.. really beyond repairs atm..

when i pull it out ill most likely put it in the shed and use it for parts/use it as a tool for learning

well this was wrapped up quickly in 1 night :) seems like a new engine and gearbox for the RX, and hopefully bolting onto the turbo manifold from the existing engine.. and maybe a top mount if i score it off HoppyJake. thanks heaps already to those who are helping me solve the problem, and if anyone...
