Hey, I have been told by the mechanic my EJ25 motor (import) needs the head reconditioned and will be approx $2500 to do so. Before this my engine used to have a reasonably high oil consumption, something which I believe is common with these motors. Will reconditioning the head solve this problem or...

YIKES.... on the day I was about to list my Outback on here for sale (furiously edits ad :P)

Seems like a couple of litres a month (depending on kms travelled of course... over say 1000kms)

Thinking of putting some white sunraysia's on my outback, can you get them to fit this model, does this enable better range of mild off road tyres to be fitted, no scrubbing issues etc... look odd / ok?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am also apparently losing oil from my 98 outback, is an import motor (installed by dealer) with quoted (LOL) 80-100000kms on it, it uses oil and doesnt have any apparent leaks either

HI, Whilst I know this car will never go cross country like a Cruiser would like to give it a little off road options... my question is can you fit sunrasia rims and decent dual purpose rims to this model? What size rims would fit? Was also thinking of raising it say 2 inches, is this also a good op...

Just had a great system fitted to my 98 Outback by Fat Pipes at Kallangur, fantastic job, would recommend any car to them, $290 great price too.

I thought about getting a nudge bar for my outback, but will probably spend the money on a nice exhaust system instead hehe
