just slot the holes. I think you only have to slot one side. I have do it before to my buggy. it has ea82T motor.

yes thats why i want to do it too. as phizinza said. The only reason I made my EJ/FT4WD/EA box was because its was easier putting the 1.59 and FT4WD parts in the EJ casing then spending the money or making the flywheel and adapter plate. I also have both gearboxs doing nothing in my garage. This box...

Can I swap the dual range gears from my EA82 non turbo 1.59 to a EJ22 gearbox which has the 1.19 low range?

yes built my buggy from MY car. cut out 600mm welded it back 2gether. locked rear diff.fitted EA82T motor. then put four 12" wide ATV tires on it.

you want to cut it by 600mm then weld back together ,weld rear diff. dual hand brakes. that what i did to mine. Then repowed with EA82T.

I would like to thank everyone thats had something to do with this site. I have learnt alot about subarus from here.Its a pitty the cost of freight is soooo dear or i could help you guys out will lots of parts as they cheaper on my side of the ditch.

you could try undoing the select rod that goes to the low range and try and see if you can move it?

only the my wagons had the bolt under the back seat, so your coupe wont have it, but you can still wind them up by taking them out and turning them 1 spline on the shafts. 2 turns if you want more lift, but if you turn to far the ride gets to stiff.

hi guys i have an EA82T in my off road buggy. It stopped last time i was out, after i unplugged the air flow meter cable it went again. EA71 flywheel

So this means an EA71 flywheel will fit onto a EA82, as EA71 will fit an EA81. I need a smaller flywheel to fit my VW gearbox on my off roader
