The noise can be spring clash as i had this mine.Slow turns on full lock and the spring makes a clunk against the lower part of the strut as it unloads and loads.try spray grease(moly or even motorcycle chain oil)on the bottom of the spring where it seats and see if it stops it.If it does use rubber...

overheating

Its a bummer when it starts overheating like that. Mine kept overheating on the highway after half an hour and after 3 different mechanics,new radiator,hoses,thermostat and coolant still had same problem. I bypassed the heater block and has never gotten hot again. Sounds to me though like your head ...

I just took my wheels into bob jane at Caloundra and they didnt ask they just fitted them up and balanced them on the rims.I took em home and fitted them ...easy
i guess it depends on who you strike at the counter.

i am waiting for the reply about the lift kit but in my 95 lib wagon do you guys reccomend using forester struts with the forester wheels?If the struts are similar to the Lib's just taller this would help a lot.then i suppose you use a 2"forester lift kit??
