hi thx for the replies. i have checked all the fuses and connections i can find all seem fine. the only earth i could see for the lights is in the tray behind the drivers side panal closest to the tailgate, is there more i have missed?

I'd be checking the spark plugs and fluid levels just as a precaution - make sure non of the spark plugs have coolant on them - worst case senario would be that a cyclinder has filled with coolant from a dodgy head or inlet gasket and is hydrolicing, making it near impossible for the starter to tur...

i have recently bought a 89 brumby. i wanted to convert it to a ea81t but they are becomming rare so instead i want to convert it to ea82t and maching gearbox is there much work (except wireing)in this convertion or is all bolt up?
