Most of the pictures are from the original ad a few years and ~5000km ago but shows how it scrubs up. The indoor photos are more recent and the car has not moved since they were taken.

Speaking of rear diffs, what oil are people running and happy with? Poking around and people seem to be having good results with Castrol VMX 80 in the gearbox, so chuck this in the diff as well?

I know it's not really the place for it but here's a bit of an update. Ran through a few options using what I had lying around & just happened to have some stainless pipe that would work nicely. Trimmed it up, put some notches in on the lathe, flaired the ends and silver soldered a smaller stainless...

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I think the quickest & easiest way out is making a replacement up with copper as suggested.

I'll have a crack tonight & post the results.

Cheers.

Hey guys,

After a water bypass pipe for an EA81 as I just discovered mine has two beautiful holes in it.

Anyone have one or know the best place to find one?

Cheers,
Andrew.

Thanks for the info guys.

I'll keep an eye out, but I don't like my chances from what I'm hearing!

Looks like I might just have to get creative with one of the more common varieties.

Cheers!

Centre console trim

Hey guys, I found a pic on here that is exactly what I'm looking for for a headunit install in a MY wagon: http://s27.postimg.org/bdihxxg77/DSCF0330.jpg If anyone can shed some light on which models this headunit surround/ashtray trim came in that would be great. Even better would be if someone has ...

I'll drive it over to Adelaide if you want it! Thanks guys. I saw one sell on ebay a few months ago for $710 no RWC or anything. Condition of that one was nowhere near this though. I think a 99c no reserve ebay auction is the way to go. I'll let the market decide what its worth. If someone fro...

EOI 1984 Subaru 1800 Touring Wagon

Hi guys, The time has come for this wagon to go to a new home, it never gets used and is just taking up valuable space in the garage. Just posting this thread for expressions of interest, I'm waiting on a few small parts which should be here in a week or so and the car will be good to go. If theres ...

I've spoken to a few engineers so far for a 3 inch lift and 27 inch tyres without anyone wanting to approve the changes yet... It seems the threat of being sued by someone injured in a stack with a modified vehicle that has their signature on the cerficiation is enough for most to say no... As for ...

Cheers.

Getting RWC on a lifted, turbo G1 Lib in Vic?

Hey guys, Looking at getting a G1S1 GX Liberty wagon, with 3" lift, outback suspension, RS turbo motor etc. It is currently unregistered. How hard would it be to get rego on something like this in VIC? I've read a few differrent things regarding lifts, 2" is legal but 3" requires mod/engineer plate?...
