Agreed, it should have ample torque though as it only pushing about 300kg.
BTW it is a webberised EA81 stripped of all its non essential crap.

Its revs that I want, with appropriate torque levels of course, not silly road bike revs.

A decent exhaust note would be good too.

Lets discuss a straight through twin system for the Jet boat

Righto gentlemen, I have built some swisho alloy exhaust manifolds to lower the engine a wee bit. I am planning to go directly out the stern with each side seperate. The manifolds are 45mm diametre and the pipes will steadily increase to 60mm at the stern. Water will be injected about mid way to qui...

There is NOTHING wrong with a scoop as long as you are running the appropriate donk underneath it.

The WonderBrumby runs cooler turbo'd and scooped than it did EJ22 and non scooped.

Same cooling system.

diswashing liquid and a teaspoon of sugar for a bit of bite
a few drops of water gets it all happening.

Nice to the hands too.

Some years ago I saw ads for EJ22 turbo kits in US magazines.
Its fine Brumbyrunner, but I did mean the EJ22 turbo US SOHC version.
Those bits bolt on. Fuji Heavy Industries factory Bolt on.

Here is a few more words with a bit more fact than the thoughtless dribble of the last post.

It has been done and with some success in the US, with normal NA internals too, some EJ22T parts are needed but they are BOLT ON as the question asked.

Still ticking over on the jet boat. I have had a design change regarding the engine position, no major drama. The Minister of finances has approved a request for a Mig welder, if I go halves with a mate we may even go for a tig. I have tried two borrowed migs and the wire feed issues drive me crazy....

Too big and not enough traction for Targa Tas, he bent it and bent it well.
Good on him though.

Ian Wetherhead has made stuff for me in the past, nice work too.
Good bloke.

He even kept a straight face when we told him it was for a 10 horsepower belt driven snowboard.

But that is another Long story.

I think minimum stopping distances are very cool,

Saves you from screaming passengers, insurance increases, doctors, plaster casts, panel beaters and all sorts of really uncool stuff. (like neons)
