Yes, the lifters tic. They come and go,sometimes can go weeks without any noise. We have no intention of fixing it,they can tic till there hearts content.

Update Velocityboy Brumby.

Brumby 2'' lift steering link.

I have had a look in the forums but I thought it would quicker to ask. When you do a 2'' lift on a Brumby what do you do about the sterring link that goes from steering column to the rack? Will the origanal work? Do you use one from another model or something?

Thank you again guys,the tips are very helpful. I would prefer the auto because I'm getting lasy in my old age, I am just concerned that useing an auto would be a big disadvantage. Thanks for your guidence fella's. I didn't think about the engine braking down hill but as I'm a 4x4 novise I don't think I will put myself in any extreme situations. Cheers.

What's better auto awd or dual range M

I'm doing am going to do a EJ20t conversion on my brumby,the half cut I have is auto AWD. I have no experience with offroading so I am unsure if the single range auto awd would be a disadvantge over the dual range manual. I plan to do some mild beach and bush driveing. Any advise would be appreciate...
