Boxer Service in Brendale did a full power steering system rebuild for my Brumby including re-chrome a number of years ago and it has been absolutely bulletproof ever since...

Thanks guys. Looking for a clean unmodified guard, my car is maple beige however work can paint the guard. Unfortunately a company vehicle is what hit my car

Ahhh alternators... A failing alternator in an old car (Brumby etc) as far as I know won't necessarily throw a warning light (I had issues with worn out brushes etc etc) unless the charge output voltage goes nothing. Basically requires the alternator to stop spinning (belt gone) to trigger the batte...

Can somebody help me to stop the thread bumping all the time? I think it has to do with the "classified" designation beside the thread title in the forum list?

I'm not doing the thread bumping lol - the forum must be doing it automatically. I'm not losing hope...I found three sets of twin carbies and a twin port engine. I suppose it doesn't really matter now...I have one on there but it's pretty damned ordinary and makes the engine bay look a bit rough.

It's so damned annoying because these systems aren't particularly easy to find these days! And they almost never work first go without throwing $$'s at them. Difficult to know where to start to try and find a non-standard compressor out of a different model car. What do you even search for? 80's air...

I'm still around, I've completed everything I want to do with my Brumby now and need to stop throwing $$$'s at it and start enjoying it so that's sort of dropped my participation on here a little. Plus working all the time for said $$'s.
