I'm not quite sure what your setup is. But I had a similar issue (without the tank pressurization though) which turned out to be dirty fuel filter in the engine bay. Even tipping out the fuel backwards helped for a while until I got the to shops. Ok so after replacing the EFI pump and filters I prim...

2012 Great Endeavour Rally

Hi all, For those interested, I'm going to try to update regularly with our highlights of the rally. Depending on internet coverage. Pre-start. 30th June / 1sr July. Highway drive from Calliope to Charleville, got to Taroom and the road was closed to Roma so had to detour via Wondoan and Jackson. Th...

Hi check out these guys, they seem to stock a few alternative sizes tempetyres.com.au the Bravo might suit you the centre blocks look reasonably close for on road.
Or there's the buckshot mud tyre.

The other mud option is the Kumho 71.

Well installed new struts today. A few things that I have noted between 1st Gen Forester and 2nd Gen Outback rear suspension. - standard king springs are the same length 340mm, however Forester are 175lb, outbacks are 200lb. - top and bottom spring diameter for Forester is 130mm, outbacks 134mm. - p...

Yeah, don't use anything too small, a 6mm punch is recommended.
Two 1/2inch extensions on top of the punch makes it easy to swing the hammer.

Also when you put it back together it only goes one way.

No, haven't bought them. Was looking for a slightly smaller tyre to 215 65 R16 with good tread.
But would also need to find 15inch rims. I have decided to sort out my struts first.

I think they must be new to the Australian market in this size at least, which is good for us.

Hi, Also try http://www.tempetyres.com.au/index.asp for these tyres. I was quoted the same price of $180 ea, just this week.
But the delivery was much cheaper to QLD, even cheaper than the ebay ones to VIC.

Thanks Littlewhiteute, I think I'm going to go back to standard hight springs, the one less coil should help with the binding. But also change to SG struts which will improve tyre clearance. Should I keep SF top hats and use SF springs. Or go 100% SG? Also any comments on brands being stronger than ...

Yes, check the codes.

Talking of fuel it could be just the fuel filter in the engine bay.

With the leads you can check them with a multi meter, they should be in the range of 5K to 11K ohms.

This has got me thinking.
What would be the result/handling welding the rear diff only in the automatic.
Since it normally runs 90% front would it still be alright on road.
Then with also centre diff lock mod get out of some sticky situations???

Thoughts...
