Why not just get a Suzuki? Don't get me wrong, Im all for new things, just interested in the reasoning behind keeping the brumby body. Another option would be to just custom fab a sub-frame to support some solid axels. Then your just a transfer case, tranny and chevvy small block away from victory ...

What models and years of Subaru's came with no stubs on the rear diff (driveshaft has the stub that slots into the diff)? And are there open as well as VLSD models of this type of R160 diff? in the US, all MY and L series came with the male stub diffs. once you get to the Legacy/Liberty models, onl...

I didn't feel the body flex at all. I never flt a wheel leave the ground all weekend, so force the body wou...

in the US in 83, the Wagons were the first to get the vented rotors. The Brats had solids. the rear drums for all models were the same... 83 and 84. When the say "carry over the brakes from donor", do they give a definition of "brakes". the L series calipers are a tad bigger (thus the change to the ...

it probably would have a better ride than a Hilux on 25's, as the unibody of the Brumby would weigh more than the body and bed of a Hilux because of the additional strenth built into the subaru unibody, and the engine will give it a little bit more weight to smooth the ride....

In the US, the EA81T vehicles were vented disc front, drum rear. same as the other MY 84 vehicles. The automags back in the day wrote articles on the EA81T (Turbo Traction wagon and Brat) as a 1983 1/2 offering, as they weren't available at the start of the 83 model year.... the Turbo Traction Coupe...
