I'd be in for one of these - assuming the gearing is compatible with the 2095-08 Manual Outback.

It's 2 wires to the controller. But I reccomend getting an aftermarket item as they are infinately easier and more advanced that the factory one. I've got a DCCDpro for mine. Canadian made. 5 wires. I'll never look back. And yes, it will fix any 5 speed :) What was that worth? Did you have to impor...

DCCD centre for Gen4 Outback dual range

At some point I'm going to pull down my transmission to fit scorpion low range gears.
Does anyone know if the WRX DCCD would fit in the case as well, and if so, how difficult it would be to wire up?

DCCD + low range = good climbing in the High Country of Vic!

Had an e-mail from them on the Monday, which I thought was impressive. :)
Unfortunately, they don't make an adjustable strut top for my model. :(

Apparently the 'solution' for the Gen 4 front camber is to fit Gen 3 top perches and Gen 3 model springs (inc. Gen 3 Kingsprings). See this response to my query on subaruoutback.org (Gotta love the net!) http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/81-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension/28368-2005-2009-outback-s...

Apparently the tops of the springs, and hence the spring perches, are different.

I have exactly the same shudder probelm. Shakes your fillings out right? It is driving me nuts, and I have had the same explanation, rev harder. I did and it shuddered harder. 5th and 6th at about 1900-2300rpm are my problem. I am so glad I have finally found someone who can share my frustration. I...

I reckon this question should be the other way around: Which areas of Oz do you not want to visit? In which case I'd reply with: The Werribe Poo Farm - been there, done the tour (very interesting) but no need to go back. As for the rest of Oz, well, I hope you get the meaning of this thread... And ...

Front strut mount differences: Gen 3 & Gen 4 Outbacks.

Does anyone know the actual differences between the front strut top mounts for the Gen 3 & Gen 4 Outbacks? Apparently there is a minor difference which makes the Whiteline adjustable strut tops for the Gen 3 incompatible with the Gen 4. :( if I can determine the actual differences, I can see if it w...

Omad, Haven't been on here in ages, my apols. Have fitted both the 1" lift and the King Springs, also Whiteline rear camber bushes. With a total of 2" lift I am stuck with some positive camber at the front. (Unfortunately the adjustable strut tops for the Gen 3 won't fit the Gen 4. :( Am trying to a...

Certain its a goat - I'm guessing you didn't see it 'in the flesh', so to speak?

Very similar to a marino ram skull we once had mounted similarly on dad's HD Holden! :)

In the era of 'cnc' manufacturing it shouldn't be that difficult for someone with the right expertise to knock up a prototype.
